Final Evaluatian about Technical file
During a first semester in our course we had 11 weeks of hard and intensive work, learning techniques and a basic principles working and styling on hair , especially from period of Queen Elizabeth I 1533-1603. In the first week, Lottie made introduction to health and safety and basic principles at work as a stylist and also proper washing hair.First week was very relaxing for all of us do get know each other more better. In the second week we started to practise on our model Katie, basic plaits like French and normal braid, fish tail braid as well make a bun without using a do nut bun, of course before that Lottie show us and explain how to do it.Week after we learn how to crimped and curly a hair, using a rat's application technique to get huge volume a nice texture of hair. We had been practising for few weeks before we started working in pairs. From that beginning definitely was a less fun, working with very long hair I struggled to shape and took a lot of time to crimped and curler them. Working with partner we had been practising contemporary design look from Elizabethan era. Every week we had to write and took a pictures of what we had done in studio, making a technical folder, which we can use it in the next 2 years or longer, to reminder ourself some technique as well our progress. Lottie as a excellent teacher, very well explained and helped us when we struggled.I really had a pleasure participating in these classes, had a positively influence on me . I never before had dealing with hair so I think this classes was very successful and developing into good way.
